A photographic journey across the Reichenau, an island located in Lake Constance. It is called the 'vegetable island' because in countless greenhouses mainly vegetables and lettuce are grown for the region. In the Middle Ages, the island gained European importance through several monasteries. The history of these monasteries goes back 1,300 years.
